Monday night we held a
very modified Seder Feast as a family in an effort to learn more about Jewish customs, especially in relation to Easter and our belief in Jesus Christ as our Messiah. I felt a bit silly buying Matzah and whipping up a batch of Charoset, but I think it was a very enjoyable, memorable and educational night for our family.
This website - which I spent
hours browsing last week - provided endless information on the
how, what and
why of Passover. There's also a great
Ensign Article that ties together Passover with the Savior's Last Supper.

What a great idea to do a Seder feast as a family. I love the custom, although what I've learned, I've learned from TV. Maybe we'll give it a shot next year!
What a memorable FHE.
I went to a seder feast at
BYU Idaho Education Week a
few years ago. I enjoyed it
so much.It was so interesting.
I have never thought of doing
one for my own family. I'll
have to remember that idea.
Thanks for sharing:) Keri.
I agree...maybe we can try this next year! I'll have to check out the link you provided! thanks for sharing!!
Oh, I LOVE that you did this! My mother loves everything Jewish, and we did this every year when I was growing up. (We also had a menorah and celebrated Hanukah; now all of us grown kids do that, too.) I think it's interesting and instructive to see how much we have in common with Jews, and the points on which it was important, in the primitive church, to part ways.
Cool, cool activity.
Very neat idea. I wonder if I could do this succesfully as dairy & gluten-free??
Your title made me laugh outloud once I read your post. Still laughing. What a great idea. I'll add that to my someday file.
What a great thing for your kids to learn! You are such a fun mom!
