We didn't have any big family plans for spring break, but wanted to find at least one fun family outing that would be memorable. Last Saturday we took the kids to Denton to the old town square. It was really like stepping back in time with and old courthouse and shops that look like they've been around for years. We visited a great used bookstore and picked out some fun treasures like Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle, Anne of Green Gables and Mason's new favorite, The Potty Book for Boys.
After a walk around the Main Street we enjoyed dinner at Rudy's BBQ and then dessert at Beth Marie's Old Fashioned Ice Cream Shop and Soda Fountain. It was such a wonderfully simply outing.

What a fun day! Emily never took me to see those fun things when she lived in Denton. . .
I love the bench pictures. I love those kids! :)
Those are great pictures of your kids! What a fun day trip. We have yet to have spring break. It is in a week. Hopefully spring will arrive by then. :-)
Super fun pictures!
What cute pictures! After
hearing you talk about your

to go there sometime. Thanks
for the fun suggestions-Keri
Cute photos! That ketchup shirt is hilarious, and I have definitely known kids like that.
And now I want an ice cream cone.
