Anyway, going back a ways here- Remeber when you and Heidi were staying with us while my parent's were out of town and you guys helped me make my Valentine's box? It was so cool with 3-D hearts sticking off and everything. I sure thought it was cool, anyway. :) Geez, I was probably about Ryan's age. Wow!
Hee, hee! I love this! Where to begin?? Rain Tree. I was a Senior at Brighton and Britt, Amy and I came to experience college life with you and Heidi. What a blast! I also remember you guys using "reading days" before finals as a time to come visit us and go skiing. No wonder I did so well at BYU! ;) You were a great example for me. You were the big sister I'd never had- and I'm so glad I have you now!
Remember when I gave you a hug at church because I missed you soooo much while you were at your brother-in-laws wedding??? Oh wait, that was earlier today....To be honest, that's about as far back as I can remember these days....:)
Remember when we first moved into your ward and you came over with Ashley and offered to watch my kids while I unpacked? I didn't take you up on it, but I sure thought you were thoughtful for offering!
OH MY GOODNESS - where to begin? I'm glad I checked your blog and feel so honored to be part of Kelly and Emily's memories! So much fun! I'd have better prospects for grad school if we had actually used reading days for their intended purpose rather than skiing! Remember all the times we borrowed your grandmother's car and kept poking the ceiling? Remember every single BYU football game? Remember the Wendy's trashcan? Remember Insight on our ceiling? I'll end with this - remember driving across country after our freshman year? So many amazing memories! I wish you lived closer!
I remember when you used to leave post-it notes on my journal that would say things like "check the spelling on pg 29" or "I can't believe what you said on pg 112" or "I did NOT do what you said on pg 32", etc. I was very paranoid about writing anything personal in my journal and still feel like someone is always reading it...thanks for the therapy!
Remember when...you always save me when I'm running late to pick the kids up from school. You're my life saver and I don't know how I would survive the school year without you.
My first real memory of you was, well, I don't remember when, but Catherine was tiny and you were at Bob & Kathy's house. I was trying to get her to sleep downstairs and you very thoughtfully brought me a plate so I'd get something to eat. It was the kind of thing I'd (unfortunately) probably never think to do, and I so appreciated it.
