Almost

A stack of these and a cold glass of milk almost makes me love fall.

Soft Ginger Cookies

Cream together:
1/2 C. butter, softened
1/2 C. shortening
1 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. sugar

Add:
2 large eggs
1/4 C. molasses
1 t. vanilla

Combine:
3 C. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
1 t. ground ginger
1/4 t. nutmeg

Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture until combined. Roll into 1" balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheets and press down slightly with the bottom of a glass. Bake at 350* for 8 minutes, until lightly browned on bottoms. Makes 4 - 5 dozen

Those look so good. I have never made anything with Molassas in them. One day I will try it.

I have all these ingredients and I'm always looking for another way to use Molasses - other than Christmas gingerbread cookies.

I'll have to try it.
