Is it Really Chinese?

We're having Chinese Chicken Salad tonight, which I'm guessing would never really be eaten in China.  Maybe I'll try to eat it with chopsticks and see if it helps the experience.

Chinese Chicken Salad

Marinate chicken breasts (1/2 - 1 person) in teriyaki sauce and grill until done.  Slice and chill.

Make a salad big enough for the number of people you're feeding.  I like to use: lettuce, shredded carrots, shredded purple cabbage, peas, mandarin oranges, sliced almonds.

Cut won ton wraps into strips and fry in hot oil until brown and crispy.

Applebee's Oriental Dressing:
Wisk together
6 T. honey
3 T. rice wine vinegar
1/2 C. mayonnaise (I used light miracle whip)
2 t. mustard
1/2 t. sesame oil

This is a great recipe to make early in the day and have ready to throw together at dinner time.  Serve salad topped with chicken, won ton strips and homemade or bottled oriental salad dressing.

Yum. I think I've had this at your house before and I love it. Salads are my favorite summer meal, thanks for all the great dinner ideas!
