The First Ten Years

September 27, 2000 we left our home in Southern California and moved our family to Flower Mound, Texas. In our seven years of marriage we had already lived in Provo, Utah (twice); Sandy, Utah; Lubbock, Texas; Chandler, Arizona; and Lakewood, California. Our four kids had all been born in different states and celebrated their first birthdays in a different state from where they were born. I was ready to feel settled somewhere, but figured this latest move to Texas was just another stopping point on our life's journey. I'm so glad I was wrong.

We have now been here for ten years and I love that we were guided here - and have been able to stay. I love raising my children in this great family-friendly community surrounded by good friends. I love country music, the Texas flag, Texas brisket and hot Texas summers. I Can't wait to see what the next ten years brings!
