Father's Day

Every year on Father's Day I take a picture of Erik with the kids. It's been so fun to see how much our group has grown over the past 16 years. I am so grateful for the wonderful husband and father that Erik is.
This picture was taken right after church yesterday. Considering the way some of the other shots turned out, I'm extremely happy with this one. Can't you hear me telling the boys on the front row to "please just keep your hands down for two seconds and look at the camera"? Mason had a tie on when we got to church, but it came home in a plastic bag after it fell in the toilet during his Primary class. It's now in the garbage. And, no, Ashley did not cut herself 8 times while shaving. She was covered in bug bites after camp last week and said the band aids helped them not itch so much.

You guys have such a cute family! Is Ashly excited to start 9th grade? I can't believe she and Natalie are almost 14!
