I can't believe it's taken me so long to get around to reading the Harry Potter series. If you haven't taken time to read them yet, consider checking out the audio books from your library and listening to them. The reader, Jim Dale, is absolutely fantastic at bringing the books to life and the stories really are amazing. I'm almost done listening to/reading book #5.
For those who can't see the symbols I used for each book...
J = smiley face
K = straight face
L = frowny face (two of those = double frowns)

What are the J's, K's, and LL's? Are the J's Julie? K's kids, can't figure out the LL's. I need to make a list of the books that I have read. Jenny Norton did that once. I should sit down and do it one day. Thank you for sharing your book list. I love hearing what others have read. Gives me great ideas.
Hmmm.... Tami, do you mean at the beginning of each book? On my screen I have smiley faces, straight faces, and frowny faces. Darn. Anyone else see them or not?
I just see J's K's and LL's, too! I thought you had some super secret code going. . .
Julie, I see the smiley faces:)
Thanks for posting your book reviews. I want to do more reading this year-- I may just have to read a few of your book pics.Keri
I just see J's K's and LL's. Funny computers, huh?
I see the faces and I love that rating system- easy to follow. Between your list and Betsy's list, I've now got requests placed on a few books at the library and am ready to start reading again. I've been on a reading low lately. But first I have to finish The Maze Runner (which I finally started this week)- darn Jamie has me all freaked out right now!
I see the smiley faces....just wondering which of your 2009 books would you classify as your favorite?
I was just thinking I need to figure out some good books to read. I am excited to get started.
