I finished book one last week and can't wait to read the other six. J.K. Rowling is fabulously brilliant.

Summer Reading
I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I'm finally getting around to reading the Harry Potter series. The books have been on my must read list for years, but other books have always found a way to cut in line. This summer Harry's finally taking a stand.

My daughter & husband have read them, but I've done the same - always something else to read. Maybe I'll start reading them to my kids - kill 2 birds with 1 stone (or 5 kids with 1 book, whatever the case may be)!

i have not read them yet either - thought i was the only one! maybe i will follow your lead and read them this summer!
We love them! Bill and I started reading them about when #4 came out. We just recently (as in 3 weeks ago) started reading them out loud to Carter (and Matthew if he has the patience). It has been SOOOOO much fun. They get to watch the movies when we finish each book. Mark my words - they are both Harry for Halloween..... Enjoy! Fun summer reading!
