I guess our post-Christmas trip to Orlando caused me to overlook posting anything about Christmas this year. Not sure if anyone cares to see a few pictures, but it seems to be a blog-worthy event, even a month late.
We always open new pajamas on Christmas Eve. This year the kids all sported Disney themed pj's in anticipation of our trip. It's always so fun to hear the kids make plans for the morning. The girls both slept in Amanda's room and the boys went in there with them just before 6:00 a.m. Amanda called us from her cell phone once they were all awake so that we could check to see if Santa delivered anything before the kids lined up to come down the stairs.
Mason loved his toy kitchen, complete with pans, dishes, food and sound effects.
Shawn had a great time playing with his Imaginext Batcave.
We were so happy for beautiful weather so that Jacob could play outside with his pitch back.
Ryan finished building his Lego Star Wars X-Wing Fighter in a couple of hours after breakfast.
I didn't get a picture of Ashley with her new pink digital camera. She loves it!
Santa delivered a new text messaging package to Amanda... will 1500 a month be enough?
I made Erik a Shutterfly Book with pictures from our summer vacation and he got me some great clothes and a few of my favorite items from Bath & Body Works. The girls surprised me with a rice cooker & steamer that they bought with their own money. Awesome! They know me well.
My sister Amy bought me a ticket to go to Time Out For Women with her in March. I'm looking forward to a fun sisters weekend. The Kellers gave us a Cocoa Latte Machine. It's so fun to whip up a nice batch of hot chocolate on cold mornings and evenings. Fabulous addition to our kitchen!

I'm almost certain 1500 won't be enough. Bergen has managed 4000 in a month (boy was that a problem) when we figured the per day per per hour possibilities it was scarey how often she was texting. She lost her phone for 30 days and we have had to keep close tabs on it ever since. Get a new life was our advice to her when she wondered what to do with all the new time on her hands.
Happy texting Amanda!
Miss you guys!
What fun. I had looked at the Batman Imaginext for Daniel. It looks like a great toy.
Can you believe how much these teenagers text? It's unbelievable.
I love the Disney pjs. How fun! We're tagging along with Ben to Orlando in May. Can't wait for WDW.
I love the pj's. What a fun Christmas you had! We miss you guys!
